It’s believed that lightening never strikes in the same place twice. Miss Jolie & her pawrents’ story may convince you otherwise.
When IVDD Assist (an initiative of DISA) saw Jolie’s story on its Support Group it was a no brainer. 2 operations on the same disc within a week and both pawrents battling serious medical conditions – this family most definitely needed a leg up!
We contacted Sarah from Canine Physical Rehabilitation on the Gold Coast who so kindly offered her assistance to guide Jolie through her postoperative period. We were thrilled and Sarah, aware of the circumstances, made a personal call to visit Jolie and her family for her first assessment and treatment.
One week in and Miss Jolie has improved out of sight! She is now squatting to toilet which, many IVDD owners would know, is something worthy of a happy daschie dance.
Will be continue to follow Jolie’s journey while she continues her visits with Sarah.
