WHAT IS IVDD ASSIST?

IVDD Assist is a Dachshund IVDD Support Australia initiative helping struggling owners of IVDD affected Dachshunds by gifting IVDD aids or similar.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The IVDD Assist Program will be advertised to members of the DISA Facebook forum whenever funds have been allocated or granted.

PLEASE NOTE:

2022 – ALLOCATIONS HAVE NOW BEEN FILLED.

2023 – THE PROGRAM IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD AND WILL RE-COMMENCE SHOULD OUR CHARITY RECEIVE FUTURE FUNDING OR GRANTS.

WHO DO WE HELP?

Owners who need a little leg up with the provision of IVDD aids. We assess each case individually to determine which aid/s would assist the Dachshund as every dog and every case is different when it comes to IVDD.

Grants & Fundraising

WHAT DO WE GIFT *?

Dog Strollers
IVDD Aids via DISA Shop
Other IVDD Aids – eg pens, wheels (if approved by Qualified Professional)

*Gifts do not include veterinary, specialist charges, consultation fees, surgery costs or reimbursement for services or products purchased

WHO QUALIFIES?

We gift to Owners of IVDD Dachshunds who live in Australia

EXCLUSIONS

Owners who have received donations via GoFundMe or any other donation platform.

FINE PRINT/OBLIGATIONS

Recipients shall agree to promotion via DISA’s Socials & Website.
Recipients must be an active member of DISA’s Facebook Support Forum https://www.facebook.com/groups/dachshundivddsupportaustralia
Quality photos of gift/dog etc to be provided by recipient for promotion, education & awareness purposes.
If requested, the owner’s name can be withheld using only the dog’s name as a reference + location.
We ask recipients to consider paying it forward when a gift is no longer required e.g., a stroller that is still in good condition.
